It has long been teased that Goldberg will be returning to the WWE soon thanks to his involvement in the company's upcoming video game, WWE 2K17.

The man who is the pre-order bonus character for the game has teased the possibly of coming back to the squared circle multiple times since being announced as part of the game, and he pretty much wants to continue where he left off if he does return. Feuding against Brock Lesnar.

Goldberg defeated The Beast Incarnate in his last match in the WWE way back at WrestleMania 20, and he believes the fact he put one over Lesnar here means he should be on the cover of the game.

He said at a press conference for WWE 2K17 in Germany according to Cageside Seats: "I should be on the cover because I killed the guy who is going to be on the cover."

But when the fans chanted for the famous WCW star to come back to the ring, Goldberg said never say never.

"For you guys, I'll see what I can do. All I can tell you is the truth is at tomorrow morning at 6:55 I'm getting on a train and I'm going to Frankfurt. Then I'm going to New York City, and that's all I can say about that. But you never say never, even when you're my age.

"Because I have no issue putting the tights and the boots on and those gloves and ripping people's faces off again. All I need is the opportunity to do it. So all I can say is all you fans out there keep doing what you're doing and it'll happen. The question is: Who do you want to see me strangle?"

Later on, he said: "I will do whatever I can within my power to give you what you want. Because I may be 49-years-old but I'm ready to go at any time, any place, and anywhere. All I need is the call."

Although there is no confirmation in what he said that he is coming back to the WWE, we have seen several stars that have been including in the video game as the pre-order bonus come back before, so maybe it's a trend that will continue.
