Two new teammates, two highly-rated young players and one unique handshake. Summer signings Paul Pogba and Eric Bailly shared a Premier League home debut together at Old Trafford on Friday night, as Manchester United beat Southampton to take an early-season lead at the top of the table.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic was the main talking point, as he proved critics of his age wrong by netting twice to seal a first home win for Jose Mourinho. However, it wasn't just the Swede who became a talking point, with a post-match incident also gaining fans' attention.

For some players in can take time to gel at their new club, however, having known each for less than a month, it seems Pogba and Bailly have already struck up a good friendship, as was proved on the pitch, following the final whistle on Friday night.

The Frenchman and former Villarreal defender shook hands following the win, but it was the way in which they embraced which gained more attention than normal, as seen in the video below.

Ibrahimovic's prowess on the night is sure to make the headlines on Saturday morning, but the handshake didn't go without getting some admiration from Manchester United fans on Twitter.

Clearly team spirit is, once again, high at Old Trafford under the guidance of Jose Mourinho, as expressed in that hand shake. But can the Portuguese now use the positivity surrounding the club to put together a consistent run of form that will guide United to the Premier League title?

Mourinho has certainly lifted the squad since Louis van Gaal's sacking at the end of the last season, and squad harmony will be key if the former Chelsea boss is to endure a trophy-laden spell as Red Devils boss.
