Scunthorpe now lead Coca-Cola League One by two points after Matt Sparrow's last-minute goal gave the Iron a 2-1 win over Cheltenham at Whaddon Road.
Nigel Adkins' side took the lead when Gary Hooper raced on to strike partner Paul Hayes' through-ball to slot home past Scott Brown in the Cheltenham goal after 34 minutes. Cheltenham hit back through a Paul Connor header on 68 minutes after an inswinging corner from Alan Wright.
The game looked to be heading for a stalemate until Sparrow hammered home from 12 yards in the 90th minute.
Neil Harris hit a second-half double to give Millwall a 3-1 win over Leeds and lift them above their opponents in the league.
Luciano Becchio had put the visitors ahead after half an hour but the hosts hit back after the break to claim all three points. David Martin lobbed David Lucas to equalise on 38 minutes. Harris then headed home on the hour mark before scoring his second with two minutes left.
Comeback of the day came at the Bescot Stadium, where Hartlepool hit back from two down to beat Walsall 3-2.
Michael Ricketts and Jabo Ibehre had the home side comfortably ahead inside 13 minutes but Antony Sweeney, substitute Matty Robson and James Brown turned it around in the last 18 minutes.
