Hayes heads for Cheltenham

Published Add your comment

Leicester winger Jonny Hayes has joined League One rivals Cheltenham on a month's loan following a trial at Whaddon Road.

Hayes, who signed for Leicester from Reading in June 2007, has failed to break into Nigel Pearson's first-team squad this season.

The 21-year-old had a trial with the Robins last week and played for their reserve side.

He joins fellow Foxes Lathaniel Rowe-Turner and James Wesolowski on loan at the Gloucestershire club.
