Conor McGregor should be a very happy man right now.
The Irish superstar avenged his loss to Nate Diaz at UFC 202 last night thanks to a warrior-like effort that was rewarded with a majority decision win from the judges after 25 gruelling minutes of fighting.
To add to all that, The Notorious One also pocketed a UFC-record $3million fight purse and will have made around $10million all told for the biggest rematch of the year. But there's a possibility that McGregor's future lies outside the UFC.

Speaking while leaving the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas after his win against Diaz, McGregor - who was hobbling with some crutches after delivering so many kicks to his opponent - made some very interesting comments about his future.
When asked about what is next for him, McGregor said that he had to sit down with Dana White, Lorenzo Fertitta and the new owners and have some discussions because he has so many offers on the table, some of which aren't in UFC.
"I've got to talk about what's next, there are a lot of options. Some might not be in this sport. So we will see."
You can see McGregor answering those post-fight questions below...
So, what could McGregor possibly have on the cards that would take him away from the UFC?
Well, keeping in the sporting world, there is always that rumoured fight he was building up earlier in the year between himself and Floyd Mayweather in some sort of boxing/mixed martial arts combo sport.
And then there is the WWE, who would kill to have someone with the natural charisma and promo-power of the Irishman. The fact that he's 5"9 would probably hold him back though.
Maybe Hollywood is calling his name? Who knows. I'm sure we will find out soon enough.
