Ever since the news broke regarding Goldberg’s inclusion in the upcoming WWE 2K17 game, rumours have been running wild that the former World Heavyweight Champion will meet Brock Lesnar in a rematch from their WrestleMania XX encounter.
Both men have been throwing verbal jibes at one another despite being at the same event to promote the video game, and while both might genuinely be interested in a rematch, Goldberg does have his sights set on another top WWE superstar.
CALLING OUT ROLLINS
Seth Rollins was one of many stars that was promoting WWE SummerSlam, and in an out of character interview on ESPN’s First Take TV show, Rollins was asked about his interest in facing off against the WCW legend.

Most of his comments seemed to be genuine and out of character as he was talking about his journey to the top, and he also put over Finn Balor as well.
However, when asked about Goldberg, he said he would wrestle him any day of the week because he’s past his prime.
Goldberg has been made aware of his comments, and in his interview with the YouTube channel ‘Myles’, he made it clear who he’d love to face from the SummerSlam card.
After picking Lesnar first, he changed his answer rather quickly, saying: “Is Seth Rollins in it? Because he opened his little CrossFit mouth this morning about me.
“And I don’t know that little guy, and I’d like to introduce him to this [motions his fists]. Because if I think about this correctly, it’s probably the size of his face.
“So yeah, he’d be the guy I go after. I’d take Brock next.”
At this stage, it may only be teasing, but Rollins is certainly somebody who could put on a good match with Goldberg.
Although, Bret Hart is someone that would despise the idea.
He’s remained vocal about Rollins being sloppy in the ring and ending Sting’s career, while he blames a superkick from Goldberg for ending his own career.
Regardless of his feelings, we have to wait and see whether Goldberg does make an in-ring return, and who he decides to target first.
