Scoring an injury time winner certainly warrants a good celebration but what Maguire did reached an entirely new level.
The Posh's goalkeeper Ben Alnwick had attempted to put off the Oxford forward by dancing on the line as Maguire ran up to strike the ball.
Alnwick guessed the right way by diving to his left but was unable to reach the Scotsman's fierce shot.
In one of the cheekiest celebrations you will see all season, Maguire then ran onto Alnwick's line to mock the keeper's attempt to save his penalty.
You can see the full game highlights below, however, the penalty incident is about 1:47 into the video.
Alnwick did well not to react to Maguire's taunt as yellow shirts swarmed in to congratulate their teammate after all but securing the 2-1 victory.
After the game, Maguire explained his celebration. He told the Oxford Mail: "There was no point the keeper diving, the ball had hit the net by the time he moved.
"He was trying to put me off and he's entitled to do that, but it always comes back to bite you.
"If you want to try and mug me off then I'll just put it in the back of the net. That was what the celebration was about."
The late winner gave Michael Appleton's men their first win in League One since promotion in the summer while Peterborough dropped down to mid-table with six points from four matches.
