Finn Balor marked his WWE pay-per-view debut in incredible fashion at SummerSlam by becoming the WWE's first ever Universal Champion.
Balor, donning full Demon King get up, won out against Seth Rollins in a very good match that ended with a big Coup de Grace for the win, leaving Balor as only one of a handful of stars who have won a title on their WWE debut.
While this should be one of the best days of Balor's esteemed career to date, it may actually not be, as rumours of a potentially serious injury began to surface.

According to a report from wrestling website PWInsider, Balor suffered an injury during his match against Rollins. That injury could be so severe that it needs surgery.
The Demon King was pictured leaving a local hospital close to the Brooklyn arena wearing a sling. Balor will be examined later today to determine just how severe the injury is.
Here is the picture of Balor leaving said hospital with the sling on his right arm. Not an ideal way to spend your first night as a WWE champion.
After making history at SummerSlam, Balor now finds himself in a state of purgatory. If he does need surgery on the arm then there is no way that he can possibly keep a hold of the title.
In a turn of events that may signal something potentially positive about the arm, Balor appeared on Good Morning America earlier today and he was not wearing the sling.
Balor has had a long career in the industry and isn't as young as some people might expect. The Irishman turned 35-years-old in July of this year. No wonder the WWE were so quick to give him a push in WWE, they honestly don't have that many good years left of Balor.
Fingers crossed that the injury isn't too severe and that Balor will remain Universal Champion for a long time to come.
