As the Premier League enters its third weekend, pre-season is starting to feel like a distant memory.

Manchester City and Manchester United occupy the top spots, Chelsea are winning, and Arsenal are in meltdown because they haven't signed enough players - so far, order has been restored.

There haven't been too many surprises when it comes to the players who have made a difference, either. As always after a Euro summer, many of the continent's best and brightest have yet to feature as they continue to regain fitness after a deservedly extended summer rest.

Yet, as the season gets underway properly, it's time for the big boys to return and make their mark. In partnership with DraftKings, here are three players who are set to star in this weekend's action.

Michy Batshuayi

Batshuayi's career at Chelsea has got off to a flyer, with the Belgian already contributing one assist and one goal just two games into the new season. The Belgian is already a fan favourite at Stamford Bridge thanks to his antics on social media, but an average of 10.3 Fantasy Points per Game (FPPG) has also made him pretty popular on DraftKings.

The assist for Diego Costa's goal against West Ham earned him 6 fantasy points and also served as a reminder of why he was such a hit in Ligue 1 last season, where he created nine goals for his Marseille team-mates.

It was a bold move by Antonio Conte in making the 22-year-old his most expensive summer signing at £33million, but a few games in, and it looks to be paying off.

Olivier Giroud

Arsenal's ongoing crisis up front makes this the perfect time for the return of Olivier Giroud to the starting line-up. The Euro 2016 finalist played just 12 minutes in the stalemate at Leicester, but that will surely spur Arsene Wenger into giving him a starting berth against Watford.

The Frenchman might not be the fastest player on the pitch, but he undoubtedly has a decent eye for goal and scores his fair share of headers too, which could be crucial in a scrappy game against Watford.

The Gunners' lack of striking options should allow Giroud plenty of service, so there's a decent chance he'll notch up 10 points with his first goal of the new campaign.

Daniel Sturridge

Daniel Sturridge might take up a fair portion of your $50,000 salary, but he's an astute choice nonetheless because others might be reluctant to pick him due to his injury worries. One of the advantages of DraftKings is that you can change your line-up on the day of the game, so he's definitely worth a gamble.

The striker returned to the action against Burnley, playing on the left of a front three. It goes without saying that the game didn't showcase what he can do, but Spurs will be well aware of his deadly finishing. His two goals against Burton Albion were certainly another step in the right direction although Tottenham's defence will provide a much sterner challenge.

Sturridge will want to make an impact on the game to show Jurgen Klopp that his faith in him is justified. Expect the England international to pepper Spurs' goal with plenty of shots, each earning him 1 point with a further point if they fall on target.
