It’s been an emotional evening for Joe Hart, who might have made his final appearance for Manchester City this evening.
The England international captained City in their Champions League play-off round second leg against Steaua Bucharest and kept a clean sheet as Fabian Delph’s second-half goal secured a 1-0 victory.
The City fans sang Hart’s name throughout the match and urged Pep Guardiola not to sell the 29-year-old.

Guardiola has made it clear that he doesn’t intend on playing the Englishman, due to his lack of ability with the ball at his feet.
The former Barcelona and Bayern Munich head coach has subsequently deployed Willy Caballero in the team’s Premier League matches while Claudio Bravo has arrived in England to complete his transfer from the Camp Nou to the Etihad Stadium.
Hart fronted up after the match
Hart struggled to hold back the tears at times but was man enough to stand in front of the BT Sport cameras for the post-match interview.
The goalkeeper explained the situation - that the issue will be resolved, one way or another, over the coming days - and was then told by the interviewer that he’d finished the match with a 100% pass completion rate.
