The Miami Heat's offseason has been strange, to say the least.
The three-time champions lost their franchise player in Dwyane Wade as he opted to return to his native state of Chicago, Illinois to play for the Bulls. One silver lining was their ability to re-sign Hassan Whiteside, but losing Joe Johnson and Luol Deng has left them looking significantly weaker than last season.
Chris Bosh's future has been of paramount importance to the organisation in recent times and there were suggestions he would be forced to retire from basketball after recurring blood clot issues.
But ahead of the new campaign, there has been some positive news on the Bosh front, kind of.
In a recent video posted onto the team's official Twitter page, coach Erik Spoelstra is talking about the expectations for the upcoming campaign when Bosh - training at full intensity - appears on the screen.
It's unclear how much we can read into this, but the sight of the 11-time All-Star giving it his all in training can only be a good sign. The organisation is not being talked about in the playoff picture but a return for the forward could shoot them right into the frame for a top eight finish.
