The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion has been absent through the revolution that was the draft and even missed SummerSlam.
He picked his time though and returned to Monday Night RAW tonight and in doing so, shook the very foundations of the WWE.
Tonight's main event was an elimination Fatal 4-way match to crown a new Universal Champion between Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens and Big Cass.
It was an entertaining match in itself, but then things got really controversial as the match came down to Owens, Reigns and Rollins.
As Reigns began to establish dominance, The Game came out of the crowd, delivered the pedigree to him outside of the ring and put Seth Rollins in a pinning position to eliminate the Guy.
As Triple H then pulled Owens into the ring to seemingly do the same to him, he would pull the most surprising move yet and attack Rollins.
After delivering the pedigree to the Architect, Owens would then pin him and win the Universal Championship as the Game turns his back on his golden boy.
As he left the ringside area, even General Manager Mick Foley and Commissioner Stephanie McMahon looked just as confused as everyone else.
So where does this leave RAW? Owens is now the champion and could Seth Rollins be about to turn face?
