Whilst all the focus of this week's Monday Night Raw was on the historical Universal Championship match, Sheamus and Cesaro once again faced off in their second Best of Seven Series match, which could be their last.
Reports this morning suggest that Cesaro could have suffered a serious spinal injury after he was dropped into the turnbuckle. It was evident that the move caused Cesaro a lot of pain and following the move Sheamus locked in the CloverLeaf and the match was over.
Following the match, Cesaro looked like he was still in a considerable amount of pain as Sheamus left the ring with his second win of the series, leaving Cesaro still needing four wins.

IS THE INJURY A WORK?
Cesaro's injury is yet to be evaluated by WWE doctors but given that the match ended merely moments after the injury occurred, to the watching WWE Universe it looked quite serious.
The former Intercontinental Champion even took to Twitter to respond to the WWE Universe after the speculation began.
As the Tweet shows, Cesaro states that he is unable to train this week, but he doesn't point out the severity of his injury and a statement from WWE said that he suffered multiple contusions to the lumbar spine. If the injury was a work then it would mean that Cesaro would be unable to fight Sheamus in their third match of the Best of Seven Series next week, but a third win for Sheamus doesn't give him an overall win, but it would put him one win of the overall victory.
The Best of Seven Series was a way for Cesaro and Sheamus to elevate themselves up to the main event level with the winner being placed in a much more high-profile storyline. But with Sheamus already holding two straight victories, it seems he holds all of the cards at the moment.
An injury for Cesaro just months after he returned from shoulder surgery, would be heartbreaking for the fan-favourite. He returned to one of the biggest crowd reactions of his career the night after this year's WrestleMania but he has failed to capitalise on that since.
The last thing Cesaro will want is more time on the sidelines now that the Raw roster is much smaller. This means there are fewer superstars and more opportunities and these could easily have been handed to the Swiss Superstar following his feud with Sheamus.
