It doesn't look like there will be many, if any, new arrivals at Liverpool on transfer deadline day, but the Anfield club is doing its best to make sure there are several outgoings before 11pm tonight.
Alongside the likes of Mario Balotelli and Lazar Markovic, one player that Jurgen Klopp has told can seek first team football elsewhere this season is Mamadou Sakho.
However, despite offering him to both Stoke City and West Brom in recent days, the French defender is proving increasingly difficult to offload on loan after rejecting both clubs. And now, per the Mirror, Sakho has now rejected a third club on deadline day - all because of one reason.

According to the Mirror's report, Sakho has today turned down the opportunity to join Turkish side Besiktas on loan.
With Liverpool trying their best to offload the 26-year-old after a disruptive pre-season that saw him sent home from the team's US tour, the fact that he is continuing to dig his heels in and reject multiple offers is sure to be frustrating the Merseyside club's hierarchy.

The reason why Sakho is refusing to move on at this point, despite clearly not figuring in Klopp's first team plans?
Apparently the France international simply feels like he is too good for any of the likes of Stoke, West Brom and Besiktas.
Per the Mirror:
"Sources close to the Frenchman suggest he wants a club above the level of those which have so far expressed an interest."
It is also thought that Sakho is waiting on an offer from either Ligue 1 or Serie A before accepting his fate.
However, with time running out before the deadline slams shut, it remains to be seen whether a team from France or Italy are willing to bring him in on a short-term deal.
If they aren't it would leave the defender - a starter for Klopp for much of last season - in limbo as Liverpool's fifth choice centre-back.
Having already frustrated his manager will a lack of professionalism over the summer, the idea of Sakho sat twiddling his thumbs at Anfield on a weekly basis is probably exactly what Klopp was hoping to avoid heading into September and beyond.
