Conor McGregor is certainly no stranger to controversy, but sometimes he really doesn't make it easy for himself.
The Irishman defeated Nate Diaz at UFC 202 to avenge his loss to the same opponent at UFC 196.
Although it wasn't the sweet knockout that Mystic Mac predicted would take place, the 28-year-old secured victory via unanimous decision and the success has gone some way to preserving his name as a box office draw.

The Notorious One is said to have received $3m for his win over Diaz and that's a record payday in the UFC.
Now that he has some spare time on his hands, though, McGregor has drawn the ire of many followers on Instagram thanks to his latest controversial post.
As you can see below, McGregor is seen holding a shotgun. The caption states: "You need people like me," which is a pretty vague reference.
There is no doubt that McGregor is one of the most feared strikers in the MMA and his left hand is as dangerous as they come. One has to question his common sense in posting a picture like this, though.
Where did he even get the gun? Considering a lot of his supporters and followers are likely to reside in the United States, it's not a very sensitive photo in light of some of the recent tragedies the nation has felt.
Some users let him know their displeasure.
One user wrote: "Why post a pic with a gun when its (sic) guns what kill innocent people everyday and you hold it like its a toy?"
"What a d---. Clearly had all the taste punched out of him," was another comment.
What do you think, should McGregor think before he posts? Or is this just another flashy image?
