Former Chelsea, Manchester City, and England midfielder Frank Lampard has hit the headlines once again since making his move to Major League Soccer outfit New York City.
He scored two late goals for New York as they edged a 3-2 victory against D.C. United.
The Chelsea veteran made his move to the USA in 2015 following a brief stint at Manchester City, where it is said he stayed on loan after making a switch to New York on a free transfer.

Lampard started out his career in professional football at West Ham United, following in the footsteps of his father, who also played for the club. He made his debut for the club in 1996, coming on as a sub against Coventry City.
At West Ham, Lampard went on to make 148 appearances, scoring 24 goals over a six year period.

Lampard then joined Chelsea for a fee of £11 million, and it would be at Stamford Bridge where he would go on to secure his elite status in the football world.
He played 429 times in all competitions for the Blues, scoring 147 goals and becoming the club's all-time top goalscorer.
In January of 2015, Lampard signed a pre-contract deal with MLS side, New York City, ending his long-term association with the Premier League.
Due to injury, it wasn't until August of that year that Lampard would make his debut in the MLS, where he came on as a late substitute in a 3-2 defeat against Montreal Impact at Yankees Stadium.
To date, Lampard's record in the MLS is 14 goals in 26 games.
In the video we can see that Lampard has not lost any of his competitive edge, nor has old age effected his sight for goal.
Not only was his first goal a trademark Lampard finish, his second proves that he's still got the footwork to beat a defender.
During his career, Lampard has won no less than three Premier League titles, four FA Cup's, and one Champions League.
The 38-year-old had a memorable 2005 on an individual basis, winning the FIFA Player of the Year silver award, the Ballon d'Or silver award, the FWA Footballer of the Year, and the PFA Fans Player of the Year.
These are but a few of the honours Frank Lampard has acquired in his glittering career, and it's no doubt that he will go down as one of England's greats.
