The violations by Alberto Del Rio and his real-life girlfriend Paige have been well-documented on the internet, partly because the WWE want Del Rio gone from the company.
Apparently, broken promises and a bad attitude are what caused some friction between Del Rio and the WWE, and Triple H is the one that stopped the former WWE Champion from receiving another big push.
However, while Del Rio’s looks set to be on his way out, all of this drama seems to have a domino effect as it could also affect Paige as well.

Former EVOLVE and Ring of Honor commentator, Mister Saint Laurent, discussed the relationship between the pair on his latest podcast with Kevin Sullivan, providing surprising details of how the WWE treated them.
He said: “Mark Carano, who fans might know from Total Divas, kind of like the office liaison guy, approached Del Rio and Paige individually and harassed each of them about their relationship.
THREATENING TO FIRE HER
“It was indicated that the office wanted them to sever their romantic relationship.
“A lot of people speculated if this was the reason WWE split them up in the draft, and that’s definitely what happened. The company did not want them together. They split them up in the draft by design and they threatened to fire Paige if she didn’t break up with Del Rio.”
While threatening to fire Paige simply for dating Del Rio feels like a bit of an overreaction, you have to feel that the WWE still value the relative youngster as a top talent that they want to keep around.
Her performances have looked sloppy recently, and she has been in the media a lot more since getting together with Del Rio, and the negativity then reflects poorly on the company.
She has a whole career ahead of her, and it’ll be a shame if she threw it away once Del Rio makes his exit mainly because she is still very talented and could play a huge role in the women’s division.
