David Luiz rejoined Chelsea in arguably the most spectacular deal of the transfer deadline day on Wednesday for £34 million.
Two years after being sold by Jose Mourinho, the Brazilian was back at Stamford Bridge posing in a Chelsea shirt once again.
It probably wasn't picked up by everyone but Luiz, famously known for his extravagant afro hairstyle, chose to hide his locks under a black cap.
Usually, players like to look fairly smart to impress their new - in this case old - fans as they make their first public appearance donning the team's colours.
But, ever the trendsetter, Luiz wore a hat.
To be fair to the Brazilian, he could have looked a lot worse and at least he didn't commit the cardinal sin of looking grumpy which Aaron Lennon and Kolo Toure have both been guilty of in the past.
And just in case anyone was wondering whether Luiz was simply having a bad hair day, the 29-year-old has cleared up 'cap-gate'.
Luiz took to Instagram to explain the decision to wear a hat at his presentation.
It turns out it was actually a touching tribute his father and the post shows Ladislau Marinho (Luiz's dad) wearing a similar looking hat to the one Chelsea's latest signing exhibited.
The caption reads: "I'm back Geezers! I dedicate my presentation and the first picture with Chelsea shirt again with cap for my Dad! #letswork #enjoythelife #DL30 #happy"
Luiz still has plenty of critics from his first stint in English football and his reputation for being somewhat of a play actor hasn't helped his reputation over the last few years either.
But, providing Antonio Conte can get the defender to adapt to his stern methods quickly, there's every chance Luiz can prove influential in Chelsea regaining the title this season.
