Real Madrid may be best known for their elaborate spending and outrageous galacticos scheme, but they are also capable of producing young talent from time to time.
While Real’s enthusiasm to buy known-talents looks unlikely to waver, starlets such as Marco Ansensio are flying the flag for Los Blancos’ youth system.
Another young star emerging at the Santiago Bernabeu is Sergio Diaz. The 18-year-old certainly hasn’t done his prospects any harm too with a superb goal for Real Madrid Castilla this weekend.

Diaz, despite his age, has already attracted prominent attention during his currently brief career in the ‘beautiful game’.
Having made his debut, astonishingly, at just 15-years-old for Paraguayan side Club Cerro Porteno, Diaz was snatched by Madrid this summer. The ten-time European champions were swift to acquire the teenage talent.
The Paraguayan has gotten off to the perfect start at the Bernabeu also and with three goals already, is ensuring he lives up to the optimism. After all, this is the youngster who has been dubbed as the ‘new Sergio Aguero’.
Diaz has gone a long way to affirm this praise with an audacious and equally superb goal for Real Madrid Castilla. The Paraguayan’s sumptuous strike can be seen in the video below:
Having picked up the ball just outside the centre circle, Diaz took a touch before noticing the SD Amorebieta goalkeeper off his line. The lob was executed to perfection with a deft sweep of the right foot and the ball rippling the net without a bounce.
Whether or not Diaz will live up to the attention and hopes with which he is currently bestowed is unknown, but current form suggest he’s one special little player.
