Cody Rhodes has remained a busy man ever since he was allowed to begin competing for various promotions since leaving the WWE.
Contractually, he had a 90-day non-compete clause, so as soon as that ended he went on to mix it up with some of the biggest names on the independent scene, continuing to tick names off the checklist he created.

However, although Rhodes has competed in multiple organisations already, including the Battle of Los Angeles under Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, he could be making the jump to the WWE’s biggest rivals.

Following his PWG appearance on the weekend, the Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer caught up with the former Intercontinental Champion and revealed that he has a deal in place with TNA.
He also revealed that he plans to work for both TNA as well as Ring of Honor, but he won’t be contracted to either promotion.
One of the reasons he’s decided to work with TNA is because he plans on feuding with Mike Bennett.
The two had worked together in Northeast Wrestling, and their feud could spill over to TNA, and it’s now clear why Brandi Rhodes has been acting as Rhodes’ personal announcer.
It seems like the feud could involve Brandi, as a feud between the two could also include Bennett’s wife, former WWE star Maria Kanellis.
This doesn’t mean it’ll only be limited to this one feud; there are plenty of talented stars on TNA that could engage in a brilliant feud with Rhodes.
If all else fails, he always has his fellow Rhodes Scholar, Damien Sandow to call upon.
