Monday Night Raw will play host to the returning Cruiserweight division as numerous talented stars will be looking to make an impact.
There’s an endless list of talent moving up to the red brand, with Cedric Alexander, Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa just three of the many names appearing on Raw, while The Brian Kendrick will also be making his return.
However, although the talent is there for the WWE to use, the company also has the option to include current main roster stars in the division, something they need to utilise.

One of the most popular guys in all of WWE today is Enzo Amore, and while a huge singles push seems like a fantasy right now, it doesn’t mean the WWE can’t try to turn him into a top star.
They already dropped a hint with Big Cass being involved in the WWE Universal Championship match last week, and Mister Saint Laurent believes that the WWE need to use Enzo in the Cruiserweight division.
Speaking on MLW Radio, he highlighted that other than Kevin Owens, only Enzo is capable of controlling the crowd and keeps them engaged, thanks to his quick wit, and when he goes off-script, it feels genuine, and you’re forced to listen.
ENZO SHOULD BE CHAMP
He went on to add that Balor should also be considered for the division, and that it’s the perfect way to elevate both men along with the division itself, and asked a great question, what’s the point of the Cruiserweight division if they don’t want to put big stars in it?
He went on to add, “I think it would take time to educate the audience, but if you’ve got a guy with a personality that is clicking with the people, I don’t see why not.”
It’s clear Enzo’s participation will draw huge numbers, and a potential title win could lead to a lot more.
He made a bold claim regarding the championships on Raw, saying that if Enzo became an adequately protected Cruiserweight champion, and Seth Rollins was the Universal Champion, within a few months Enzo’s championship would be drawing more, and it’s hard to argue that point.
We have to wait and see whether WWE officials decide to include him in the Cruiserweight division, or continue to use him as they are.
