After all, Gerrard was part of the 'Golden Generation' and in his day, he was an icon of English football.
The Liverpool legend therefore had a pretty blunt assessment of the Foxes, admittedly when asked by a young LA Galaxy player.
In a heart-warming video, brought to our attention by 101GreatGoals which saw Stevie G quizzed by the youngster, he urged him to reconsider his plan swapping the MLS for the Premier League champions.

“What about Liverpool? or Barcelona? Or Real Madrid? Don’t go to Leicester, they’re crap," Gerrard can be seen joking.
Or was it a joke? Leicester might still be riding high from their shock success in May, but they still don't have the prestige of a club like, say, Liverpool, who last won the league in 1990 and finished in a lofty eighth position this season just gone.
On a brighter note, the former England international also admits in the video that Zinedine Zidane was his hero growing up and that he used to try and copy the French superstar when he was a kid - and if it makes him feel any better, Zizou's never won the Premier League either.
