It didn’t take long for Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba to strike up an endearing bromance after signing for Manchester United this summer.
There’s clearly a huge mutual respect there but there show it by taking the mickey out of each other out on the training ground and inside the dressing room.
When they’re on the pitch, though, it’s all business. Jose Mourinho wouldn’t have it any other way.

Zlatan's joke about why Pogba signed for United
The enigmatic Swede joked that Pogba only signed for the Red Devils after he put pen-to-paper with the Premier League giants first - and then, on a more serious note, claims the Frenchman can become “complete” at Old Trafford.
“I am sure he just wanted to follow me!” Zlatan said in an interview with 7Days. “I am just kidding, he is funny guy and a good friend off the field, and on it you can see how special he is. He is a big player, and I know under Mourinho he can become complete.”
Zlatan on the Manchester derby
On this weekend’s Manchester derby, the veteran striker continued: “These games always mean so much to the fans and we want to win for them, but the players must always be focused. Every game must be looked at as an opportunity to win three points, that is always the goal whoever the opposition.
“The main thing is we are focused on ourselves. It is a long season, but we have started well. We have the ambition to win the title, and it will be important that we try and take points of the teams that will be challenging.”
Zlatan on Aguero's suspension
And on Sergio Aguero mission the match through suspension?
“All of our focus is on ourselves and our own preparation,” Zlatan added, “it doesn’t matter what anybody else does. You know when you play the teams at the top that any team they put out is going to be a dangerous team, you can’t just concentrate on single players.”
