WWE is a global company and has recently begun making commitments to other countries to ensure they have a multitude of superstars coming through the company in the next few years.
It was announced on WWE.com today that The Company has signed seven new recruits from China to developmental contracts. WWE held four-day tryouts in Shanghai over the past few months to find a new generation of stars that will now head to the performance centre in January 2017.
These signings further cement WWE's long-term commitment to China after they announced a muti-year content distribution agreement back in June that means that Raw and SmackDown will be screened live in Mandarin.

COMMITMENT TO CHINA
WWE has announced that Big Boa, Gu Guangming, Gao Lei, Zhao Xia, Wang Xiaolong, Yifeng and Cheng Yuxiang will all be joining the NXT roster in 2017, following the success of their first ever Chinese superstar Bin Wang.
All seven of the new recruits will be a part of the WWE Live event in China as part of their current tour to see Bin Wang create history as he makes his WWE in-ring debut against the recent returnee Bo Dallas.
Bin Wang has been training at WWE's Performance Centre for the past few months and his debut is one of the most anticipated for the Chinese WWE Universe.
TRIPLE H SUPPORTS THE DEAL
WWE Executive Vice President Triple H has also backed the deal stating that he hopes this will continue to help inspire future WWE superstars.
“WWE is dedicated to finding the most talented athletes and entertainers from around the world, the seven athletes identified at WWE’s first-ever tryout in China will be given the opportunity to train at the WWE Performance Center, in the hopes of becoming the next big WWE Superstar, while also helping to inspire future WWE Superstars and continue the global success of WWE.”
These new partnerships will ensure that WWE remains the biggest wrestling company in the world and allows The Company to add more companies to their yearly world tour.
