Mickey Gall laid down the challenge to face CM Punk in his first ever UFC fight a few months ago and finally the time has come for both men to 'put up or shut up.'

Punk has been on an incredible journey over the past year and has even undergone surgery and returned to training ahead of this fight, even though it did force the match to be postponed for a few months.

Despite The 37-year-old showing obvious fight and determination ahead of their showdown in just two days time, Gall has guaranteed that he will defeat The former WWE star and send him back to his former employers.

GALL'S OVERCONFIDENCE?

In a recent video interview with TMZ, Gall was asked about the upcoming fight and the fact that CM Punk himself has already guaranteed that he will be the victor.

Gall replied that he also guarantees a win and he will ensure that he beats him so bad that he will send him back to WWE when asked how he simply replied 'violently.'

Gall is the self-proclaimed 'Kid from Jersey' and whilst he is aware of all the attention the Chicago native is getting ahead of the fight, he said that he isn't jealous of it because everyone will know who he is after Saturday night.

HIGHLY ANTICIPATED MATCH

The longest reigning WWE Champion of the modern era was signed to UFC because Dana White knew that the outspoken WWE superstar would be a fantastic draw for UFC. He has quickly made this fight one of the most anticipated in UFC history.

Despite the fact that Gall says he will win because the UFC locker room are backing him and seem to think that WWE superstars do not belong in the Octagon, even though Brock Lesnar is a former World Champion in both WWE and UFC.

Both men have talked a good fight so far but only one can walk out the winner on Saturday night, will it be the former wrestler turned UFC fighter or will it be the budding UFC fighter with a point to prove?
