The Manchester derby is a fixture that Mario Balotelli will have fond memories of.

The Italian striker produced one of the best performances of his career during the first Manchester derby of the 2011-12 campaign, scoring twice in an astonishing 6-1 victory for City over United at Old Trafford.

It was the afternoon that Balotelli revealed his now iconic ‘Why Always Me?’ t-shirt after scoring his first goal.

Now 26, Balotelli’s career has regressed since then. However, the recently-signed Nice striker has posted on Instagram to tell his fans that he’ll be tuning in, much like every other football fan on the planet.

The Italy international admits he wants City to win the match, obviously, but he also revealed there are two United players that he’ll be supporting.

So, Balotelli has given his backing to his former Inter Milan teammate Ibrahimovic and his close friend Pogba.
