Paige still faces an uncertain future.

Paige is still with the WWE despite Alberto Del Rio departure

Published 17 Comments

Contrary to reports, Paige is still with World Wrestling Entertainment, and has not hired legal representation, according to NoDQ.

Reports have been flying around over the past few days following WWE's release of Paige's boyfriend Alberto Del Rio, but despite people claiming the female superstar has followed suit, that is simply not the case.

It's not the case as we write this article, anyway. Of course, things can change in the blink of an eye, but as it stands, Paige is still an active member of the WWE roster.

However, she is currently serving a 30-day suspension due to breaking the wellness policy, and it's not yet understood what plans WWE have for her upon return, which means she could still choose to follow in her boyfriend's footsteps and leave the company.

According to NoDQ, Paige hasn't quit the company, and nor has she sought legal representation, but she is currently in a tricky situation.

NoDQ have been told that Paige is still with WWE, but she's in a situation similar to what AJ Lee was in when CM Punk chose to quit the company.

As we all know, once Punk left, AJ Lee's time with the company came to an end shortly after, which is a possible outcome for Paige following Del Rio's exit.

Paige actually made her debut on the main roster against AJ Lee, defeating her for the Divas Championship on Monday Night Raw.

WWE RAW Pre-Show Red Carpet

She has since gone on to become a two-time Divas Champion, and was also a key figure in the women's revolution, alongside the likes of Charlotte, Sasha Banks, and Becky Lynch.

As always, it's easy for things to change in a heartbeat with WWE, but at the time of writing this article, Paige is still with the company despite Del Rio's departure.
