It is no secret that Chicago Bulls guard Dwyane Wade and his former teammate LeBron James are good friends, but just how close they are is quite brilliant.

The duo excelled together as part of the 'big three' in Miami, but their friendship has blossomed into something extremely tight throughout the years.

In a group of friends that includes L.A. Clippers guard Chris Paul and New York Knicks man Carmelo Anthony, Wade and James are the closest, and the three-time title winner admitted he would trust LeBron over his wife to pick a meal for him in a restaurant.

Speaking to, the 34-year-old said: "LeBron is one of my best friends. When we eat out he's like, "You should try this," and he knows exactly what to order for me.

"This might get me in trouble, but I would have LeBron order for me before I would let my wife [actress Gabrielle Union]. She'd get me nine different things to be sure there's something I like. LeBron just knows."
