The ink on his contract is barely dry and Arsenal fans have already started to turn on their new summer signing Shkodran Mustafi.
The German World Cup winner arrived at the Emirates Stadium the day before Transfer Deadline Day in a deal worth £35million, making him one of Arsenal's most expensive signings ever, only behind his compatriot Mesut Ozil.
Mustafi was one of four new faces arriving in north London this summer, following in the footsteps of Lucas Perez, Rob Holding, and Granit Xhaka.

However, unlike the other three, Mustafi is not getting the support he'd have liked from portions of the Arsenal faithful.
After a shaky display in his debut against Southampton at the weekend, he followed that up with yet another wobbly performance in the Champions League against Paris Saint-Germain.
Mustafi received a rating of two in L'Equipe for his performance against the Ligue 1 champions, and the Arsenal fanbase have been just as harsh on Twitter.
Despite it only being his second game for the club, they are already worried about the money spent on him and whether he will actually add anything to their already-shaky defence.

After conceding four at home to Jurgen Klopp's side, it was clear that Arsenal's defence needed work, and that's when Wenger turned to Valencia and Mustafi.
£35million spent, Mustafi arrived back in England and was thrown into the first team immediately to face Southampton in the Premier League.
The Gunners won the game 2-1 thanks to a late penalty from Santi Cazorla, but Mustafi's individual performance was a rather shaky one, as was his performance in France.
Clearly building a partnership with Koscielny, the two were often on different pages during the 1-1 draw against Unai Emery's side, and the English side were lucky to leave with a point from the game.
A late Alexis Sanchez strike gave Arsenal a share of the spoils, but on another night, it could have easily been over by half-time.
Edinson Cavani was guilty of missing several glorious chances, whilst David Ospina put in one of his best displays in an Arsenal shirt.
However, after the game, Arsenal fans were quick to comment on Mustafi and his debut performance for them in Europe.

As you can see, Mustafi was quickly compared to defensive flops Pascal Cygan and Igors Stepanovs, with another one saying he wasn't worth £35, yet alone £35m.
One thing is for sure, it can only get better for the German international at Arsenal.
