Pep Guardiola has only been at Manchester City for five minutes but the revered Catalan coach has already made a huge impact the Etihad Stadium.

The former Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss has won all seven of his competitive matches in charge of the English club following his arrival in the summer.

Guardiola also appears to have assembled a team capable of seriously challenging for both the Premier League and Champions League titles.

City spent big in the summer on John Stones, Leroy Sane, Ilkay Gundogan, Nolito and Claudio Bravo - a combined £135 million - and are currently reaping the benefits.

However, according to an interesting report published in The Sun today, it seems Guardiola has already lined up his next batch of transfer targets.

Guardiola was heard speaking to Max Eberl

The 45-year-old was reportedly overheard talking to Borussia Monchengladbach sporting director Max Eberl following Wednesday night’s meeting between the two clubs at the Etihad Stadium.

And during their conversation, it’s alleged that Guardiola named three players that he’s keen to bring to Manchester in the future.

They all play for Gladbach - and Guardiola will have seen them all at close quarters following his three years in the Bundesliga with Bayern Munich.

Mahmoud Dahoud

A Germany Under-21 international, Mahmoud Dahoud established himself as a regular in the Gladbach starting line-up last season.

Thorgan Hazard

Yep, apparently Guardiola is considering bringing Eden Hazard’s younger brother to the Etihad.

Thorgan Hazard, 23, is a player with considerable talent and has already scored three goals in two appearances for his club this season.

Andreas Christensen

Although a Gladbach player, Andreas Christensen is actually contracted to Chelsea.

The Denmark international is a defender with a bright future ahead of him and Antonio Conte won’t want to see the player leave Stamford Bridge for Manchester.

Would any of these players improve Manchester City? Which players should Pep Guardiola be looking to sign? Have your say by leaving a comment below.
