The NFL is keeping with their strict uniform policy this season, as they always do, and are fining anyone that doesn't abide by their guidelines.
Even if your rule-breaking cleats have been sent to you by an international rap star.
According to NFL.com, Houston Texans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins will be fined approximately $6,000 for wearing Yeezy 350 cleats from Adidas, which were designed by rap artist Kanye West.

Hopkins wore the cleats during the Texans week one game against the Chicago Bears, which was the same weekend which players were remembering and showing respect towards the 9/11 victims by wearing custom 9/11 cleats. These cleats, however, were exempt from fines.
The 24-year-old probably won't be caught wearing the Yeezy cleats ever again, unless Kanye pays the fine, which he should have no problem doing. After all, the Yeezy cleats with a retail price of $250 - according to Yahoo! Sports - sold out almost immediately when they went on sale on Thursday morning.
The Houston Chronicle reported that Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson and Buffalo Bills wide receiver Sammy Watkins wore the same cleats in week one too, so they'll probably have the same fine coming in the mail to them soon as well.
Nevertheless, those players will probably agree with Hopkins that they'll only wear the cleats again if Kayne plays the fine. So that's $6,000 times by three a week for the rest of the regular season, which amounts to $288,000.
That's probably pocket change for someone like Kanye.
