It came as quite an underwhelming surprise when Jack Swagger turned up on SmackDown LIVE this week, just 24-hours after being beaten by Jinder Mahal on Monday Night Raw.
During the WWE Draft, Swagger was chosen by Mick Foley and Stephanie McMahon, but his contract with the red brand has already expired, and he's now revealed that he's part of the blue brand with Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon.
Swagger's surprise arrival didn't really receive much of an ovation from the crowd, nor did his promo spark any real excitement, but he has become the first person to switch brands following the Draft.

Despite getting people in the audience to go along with the 'We The People' catchphrase, the rest of the promo didn't really engage anyone and was awkward more than anything else.
However, SmackDown LIVE fans might start to see a lot more of Swagger in upcoming months because according to reports, he is going to be receiving a 'solid push'.
According to NoDQ, Swagger could be on the receiving end of a push on the blue brand after officials made the decision to move him across.
It's claimed Raw didn't have a solid spot for him, which is understandable given the fact they have a heavily packed roster of main event talent, and moving him to SmackDown LIVE was the best for all parties.
It's heavily considered that Raw won the Draft overall, picking up all the top names in the current era, with the likes of Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Finn Balor, Charlotte, Sasha Banks, and Bayley all going to the red side.
How Swagger fits in on SmackDown LIVE is still unknown, but according to NoDQ, a push will be on the cards.
