Barcelona's 2-1 home defeat to Alaves last Saturday was a wake up call to Luis Enrique's men, reminding them that they cannot afford to let their standards slip against any opponent.
And, on paper, if there is ever a good time to play the Catalan giants, Celtic's Champions League tie at the Camp Nou just three days later seemed exactly that. A defeat on home soil against one of the division's smallest clubs - it was surely the perfect time for the Scottish giants to rock up at the Camp Nou?
However, with Barcelona, unlike most other teams on the planet, opposition have the best chance to cause them an upset on the back of a long winning streak, rather than a defeat, as Celtic found out.

Barca's 7-0 Champions League win was a gruelling punishment for the Scots, and on Saturday Barcelona were ready to thrash yet another opponent, this time hoping that Leganes would be their latest victims.
And victims they were. However, unlike it midweek, when Messi netted in the third minute, it took the Argentine 15 minutes to open the scoring this time around, and it was a personal first, also. Ok, the two sides has never previously met, however, it was Messi's first goal against the club.
It took just 44 minutes for the famous MSN trio to get on the scoresheet, with Luis Suarez doubling the lead after 31 minutes and Neymar's 44th minute strike all-but putting the game to bed.
Messi made it an emphatic win with a 55th minute penalty, while an 80th-minute Leganes was of little consolation.
But despite it being an immediate recovery for Enrique's men in the league, fans all over Twitter were more concerned with the lethal form of the MSN.
It's no question how important to the forward trio are to Barcelona, no matter how much quality they have across the rest of the field.
The South American trio have played a huge part in the Catalans netting 20 goals in all competitions so far this season - prior to their game against Leganes - and are already just one goal behind their La Liga record in the Champions League (7), despite having only played one fixture.
Barcelona's incredible goalscoring form has resulted in just one defeat so far this campaign.
