When he was first asked the question, the 15-time champion was quick to say he lets the fans decide which matches are memorable, but he then went on to name his matches with The Rock, CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, and AJ Styles.

He said: "Well, when it comes down to being most memorable, I kind of leave it in the hands of people like you.

"I think a lot of people remember the few matches I had with The Rock because those were on a really, really big platform.

WWE SummerSlam 2015

"I know that some of the matches I had with CM Punk are quite memorable. There was a SummerSlam match with Daniel Bryan that was memorable. And, hell, I'd like to think the match I just had with AJ Styles [at SummerSlam (2016)] was pretty decent."

Cena has had plenty of memorable matches throughout his career. His debut on SmackDown against Kurt Angle. His long-running rivalry with Randy Orton produced some brilliant matches, as did his rivalries with the likes of Triple H, Batista, and John Bradshaw Layfield.

Cena is preparing for a quiet few months around WWE, but he will be in action at SmackDown LIVE's next pay-per-view No Mercy next month, as he goes up against Dean Ambrose and AJ Styles in a triple threat match for the WWE World Championship.
