Gillingham have placed former captain Andrew Crofts on the transfer list.

The 24-year-old Wales midfielder was stripped of the captaincy earlier this month and has not featured in a matchday squad since.

Crofts, who is a product of the Gills youth system and made his first appearance for the club as a 16-year-old in 2001, has had his name circulated to clubs in League One and the Championship.

The Chatham-born midfielder is the club's most capped player but has fallen out of favour with manager Mark Stimson.
