Naturally, an effort of this calibre brought about widespread celebration on the Liverpool bench but it also seemed to bring out general disbelief on one of the faces in the dug out, Marko Gruijic.
The young Serbian midfielder produced a reaction full of shock as the ball rippled the net; naturally, the image circulated social media in minutes.
Now, it seems as if Lovren himself is jumping on the bandwagon and giving his own take on his colleague's priceless wide-eyed expression.

The text in the post translated is a message to Gruijic reading, "my brother, unforgettable reaction".
To be fair to Lovren, the impression of his team mate isn't too bad and it is clear that the former Southampton man was overjoyed at his side's victory.
The Reds were able to secure three points despite Diego Costa pulling a goal back in the second-half; Jurgen Klopp's side held firm in the wake of Conte making a triple offensive substitution to try and alter the outcome of the match.
The Merseyside giants look a different animal this season and could be outside challengers for the Premier League crown this term.
There is a general feel of optimism around Anfield right now and fans will be hoping the club can produce more moments like the spectacular one they witnessed on Friday evening.
