Dwyane Wade has barely been able to stop talking about Miami lately, despite leaving the Heat after 14 years with the franchise.

The legendary shooting guard is now plying his trade in his hometown of Chicago, but after three championships, his ties with Miami are not easily severed.

A part of the lingering romance Wade has with South Beach lies in his friendship with longtime former teammate, Chris Bosh.

The frustrated forward has had his last two seasons shut down early because of blood clots and his future in the game is still up in the air.

However, D-Wade harbors hopes that his friend will find his way onto the hardwood again - it's the least his talent deserves.

“He loves to play basketball and he’s one of the best at it in the world,” Wade said of his close friend Saturday after the D. Wade CommUNITY Bike Ride.

“The last two years has sucked for him and his family and it’s sucked for his close friends, as well. I pray that he gets a chance to get back on the basketball court and just do what he loves to do. I’m sure he’s praying for it, but I am as well.”

Aren't we all, Dwyane. No one more so than the Heat themselves after Wade's departure, one would think.
