Ever since it was announced that WWE would be resetting back to the brand split formation and would, therefore need to add more names to their rosters, it seems the company has been linked with just about every free agent on the independent circuit.
Matt Hardy's contract with TNA expires in the Spring and recent speculation suggests that the company are intent on re-signing the former Cruiserweight Champion.
Hardy has become one of the biggest stars in TNA since he was given full control of his character and as 'Broken Matt Hardy' he has managed to reboot his career and give wrestling fans a reason to be excited about TNA.

BROKEN MATT HARDY
Matt Hardy was a part of WWE programming for more than ten years from 1998 until his release from the company in 2010. In this time he became one of the biggest stars in the company after he won the Tag Team Championships with his brother Jeff and was subsequently then pushed towards singles titles.
Even though Matt did finally win the United States and ECW Championships in his final years with the company, he was never pushed towards the WWE Championship like his brother.
Since he asked for his WWE release in 2010 and joined the TNA roster, he has been able to reunite with his brother and the duo have managed to take full advantage of their own creativity with the recent Final Deletion storyline.

MATT HARDY VS BRAY WYATT
Matt Hardy has openly challenged Bray Wyatt to a showdown many times and now it seems that WWE are ready to allow that to happen.
Bray Wyatt hasn't been able to catch a break since his debut in WWE, 'The Eater of Worlds' or 'The New Face Of Fear' hasn't been put into a feud yet where he can fully express his character, but Broken Matt Hardy could finally be the one Bray has been waiting for.
The promo's between the creepy characters alone would be a good enough reason for WWE to offer Hardy a contract to the company again. The hectic schedule could be a deciding factor in whether or not Hardy would resign with WWE, as well as the fact that his departure six years ago wasn't on amicable terms. But if the company are ready to offer him a contract to return, then it seems they are ready to forgive and forget.
