The Clash of Champions event was always going to be an exciting one; it’s Monday Night Raw’s first exclusive pay-per-view since the brand extension and every single championship will be defended on the night.
While fans are excited to see Kevin Owens take on Seth Rollins, or perhaps TJ Perkins defending his Cruiserweight Championship against Brian Kendrick; it’s the Tag Team Championship match that could be the one to keep an eye on.
The New Day are currently enjoying a 400+ day reign as the champions, and even though they had a rocky start to life in the WWE, they’ve managed to prove the doubters wrong.

Although time and time again, it looked as if the talented trio could drop the titles at any time, Clash of Champions looks to be the event the titles will finally change hands.
According to CageSideSeats, the WWE are going to pull the trigger on Sunday when Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows are expected to dethrone the New Day and become Raw’s new Tag Team Champions.

The move will be made so that it can give Gallows and Anderson some much-needed momentum, and help put them over as the biggest heel team on the red brand, and there’s not much left the New Day have left to do with the titles.
THE RIGHT TIME?
The general feeling was that the injury angle to Big E would have resulted in a title change at SummerSlam, but they kept the gold on them to delay the process.
Fans have been critical of the way Gallows and Anderson have been booked since arriving in the WWE, and this could be the huge win they need to change their fortunes around.
On paper, the New Day don’t even need the titles to remain over, whereas Gallows and Anderson probably do. So a loss shouldn’t do the current champions any harm, and it could benefit a few teams in the long run.
The move could also build up Enzo Amore and Big Cass as eventual champions when they feud with Gallows and Anderson, and the momentum for both teams at that stage will make it much bigger than it would be right now.
