Paul Pogba and Mesut Ozil regularly sport the latest and most luxurious products on football boot market.
As two of the most recognisable players in the Premier League, what they wear on their feet while on the pitch is of massive commercial importance.
Both Pogba and Ozil have a boot sponsorship agreement with Adidas, and the German manufacturer has revealed its newest addition to the range – the Ace Purecontrol.

Boasting a laceless, sock-like “uninterrupted striking surface” with its “Purecut” system, the footwear is the world’s first high-performance lawless boot, according to Adidas.
However, for all the fancy features it might have, one of the most important considerations for top-flight footballers and supporters alike is how the things actually look.
The Mirror has posted images of the new Ace Purecontrol – part of the new Stellar Pack range – showing off the slick gold, black and silvery-white colour scheme.
Adidas claims the design has been “inspired by the light side of the moon” and also features “non stop grip” and a gold “Sprint Frame” to maintain stability during high-speed movements.
The boots will be worn in competitive action for the first time when Ozil slips on his shiny new pair of Aces to face FC Basel at the Emirates in the Champions League on Wednesday.
It is hard not to notice that the new cleats are a somewhat modest option in comparison to some of the striking footwear available today
Pogba – who seems to have a new outlandish hairstyle each time United walk onto the pitch – might be slightly disappointed the latest offering from Adidas leaves him with only three choices to complement the colours on his head.
