Roman Reigns' title reign was disastrous.

Rikishi: Fans feel Roman Reigns is being pushed too fast

WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi has recently been interviewed on 'The Chad Dukes Wrestling Show', and the former superstar was asked a bunch of questions about the current product.

Rikishi discussed The Usos' heel turn in recent weeks, the brand split, and also what he thinks about Roman Reigns and why the fans seem to boo him.

It's very apparent that the WWE Universe aren't big fans of Reigns, and they've made that clear ever since the Royal Rumble last year.

WWE fans were not happy with having Reigns forced down their throats for the majority of 2015, and that has since forced his character down the card.

Reigns' title reign was a failure, and every time WWE tried to put him over as a face, fans have decided to go against it, even when Triple H was squaring off against him at WrestleMania.

Due to the reaction to Reigns, WWE had no choice but to drop him out of the title picture, pushing him to the US Championship and a feud with Rusev.

When asked about Reigns and the crowd's reaction to him, Rikishi admits fans may feel he's being forced down their throats and because of his relations in the company, he's getting everything handed to him.

The Hall of Famer said: "I think with Roman, it's just one of those things where the fans, some of them like him, some of them don't, some of them feel like he's been pushed too fast, and some of them feel like because he's related, he's got a silver platter handed to him, but hey the business is exactly that.

Rikishi then continued by discussing what Reigns is like behind the scenes, and stated how hard he works and the fact his whole image is money for WWE.

He continued: "They don't know exactly the person behind the scenes. Roman is a good father, he's a good son, very humble type of person, he's definitely an athlete if they Google him and follow his background, and he looks the part.

"Look at the dude. Roman, he looks like money and if anybody knows Vince McMahon, Vince McMahon is all about money and is all about putting the right person to be in that position.

"It's just a lot on Roman shoulders, he's got all that weight carrying on his shoulders and still he goes out there to give it one hundred ten percent each and every night.

"Me knowing him, no matter if there are things that he might be hurt about, as far as in his body, he'll never show it. He'll still go out there and do one hundred and ten percent because there's just what Samoans do."
