The injury sustained by Emma earlier this year seems to have worked out the best for Dana Brooke, as she was thrown into a programme with Charlotte, and has aligned herself with the current Raw Women’s Champion ever since.
The move saw Ric Flair taken out of the picture with Brooke acting as Charlotte’s protégé, taking notes and understanding what she needs to do to end up in a similar position one day.
PUSH FOR DANA?
However, in recent weeks we have seen that she’s acted more like a sidekick that can be pushed around rather than an understudy, and it’s clear that there’s going to be one big blow off where Brooke snaps and turns face in the process.

Monday Night Raw already possesses two of the most over stars in all of WWE, with Sasha Banks and Bayley battling Charlotte for the gold at Clash of Champions.
However, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer has claimed that both Sasha and Bayley are being used as pawns to get Brooke over as a huge face.
He said: “Bayley and Sasha are pretty much considered the minor characters in the Charlotte and Dana storyline, and they saw this as another idea where Dana would go in there, and say that because Bayley and Sasha both lost, then Charlotte shouldn’t have to defend the championship.
"And because Dana says that, it screws it up, and now Charlotte has to defend against both of them instead of one of them, making it worse.
“So, it’s another layer of the Charlotte – Dana Brooke feud.
“They think Dana’s gonna be this super baby face, and I don’t know where they’re seeing this.”
DOES SHE DESERVE IT?
It’s difficult to understand why Brooke is being given this kind of importance when she’s achieved very little, both on the main roster and on NXT.
It’s clear that fans are and always will be behind Sasha and Bayley, as they’re two women that have paid their dues to reach this stage, and it won’t be pretty when the WWE Universe turns on her and the company because Sasha and Bayley aren’t being given what they’re deserved.
It could even turn into another Roman Reigns situation, if a turn and push doesn’t happen organically, Brooke probably won’t ever reach the top as a face that’s backed by the fans, and even Meltzer doesn’t understand it.
Granted, she does have a good look but in 2016, that really doesn’t make a difference considering how much genuine in-ring talent we have available.
