While no one anticipated the Blues to win at the Emirates at a canter, they were heavily fancied to take all three points. After all, the Gunners have a dire record against Antonio Conte’s men in the Premier League.
Therefore, upon Arsenal running away with an emphatic 3-0 win; there have been a fair share of joyous reactions from the north London contingent. This was no different in the BT Sport studio.

Barring defeat at the hands of Liverpool, Chelsea have had a strong start to the season. Nevertheless, the Blues appeared a completely different side upon crossing the white line at the Emirates.
With erratic passing, sluggish defending and countless individual errors, the Stamford Bridge side set themselves up for a defeat. In addition, given the fact Arsenal were in a ruthless mood, Arsene Wenger’s men took advantage and then some.

Alexis Sanchez chipped home after Gary Cahill’s kamikaze back pass before Theo Walcott tapped in a second. Finally, the mercurial Mesut Ozil put the final nail in the coffin with a surgically placed strike.
Chelsea improved in the second half, but even in their finest spells were well beaten. Simply put, they can have few complaints with the result.
BT Sport reaction
Evidentially, such a one-sided game produced a great disparage in reactions from Arsenal and Chelsea supporters respectively.
This was perfectly demonstrated by the punditry choices of BT Sport which saw Gunners legend Ian Wright and Chelsea royalty Gianfranco Zola in the studio.

It’s fair to say Wright was pretty happy. As for his counterpart, he probably couldn’t believe what he was watching, a view seemingly shared by Conte on the touchline.
Then again, such a surprise result was always going to prompt such reactions, especially considering Arsenal’s recent Chelsea hoodoo. After all, even the professionals reporting on the game couldn’t contain themselves.
