The FA are to sack Sam Allardyce as England manager after the Telegraph’s undercover report exposed him advising reporters, posing as businessmen, on how to bypass FA rules on player transfers.

An investigation was launched after footage of Allardyce’s two meetings with fictitious businessmen was released.

According to The Times, Allardyce was summoned to Wembley by 'disturbed' FA chiefs.

In the videos, Allardyce, 61, is seen negotiating a £400,000 deal in which he explains how to get around FA rules regarding third-party ownership.

The former Sunderland boss has only managed one England game after being appointed in July. He met with the group prior to his first training session.

In the video, he accused the FA of being all about “making money” and said his employer’s rules about transfers are “ridiculous”.

Sam Allardyce’s agent: Is that third party ownership a problem though?
Allardyce: It’s not a problem.

Undercover reporter: Yeah well I mean there are, there are ways -
Allardyce: It’s not a problem.

Undercover reporter: There are ways around that as I understand it, or ways through that.

Allardyce: [Name protected for legal reasons] [unclear] And, er [name protected for legal reasons], they’ve been doing it for years.

Allardyce: You can still get around it. I mean, obviously the big money’s here.
