Over 32 years after the famed rivalry between their dads first began, back in 1990, Conor Benn (21-0, 14KOs) and Chris Eubank Jr. (32-2, 23KOs) are prepared to resume the feud.

After two ring fights, the boxing rivalry between Chris Eubank and Nigel Benn has a rich history. Now, their sons will fight and carry on their feud.

On Saturday, October 8, 2022, at the O2 Arena in London, a fight between the current WBA Continental welterweight champion from Essex and the previous IBO World super-middleweight champion from Brighton is scheduled.

The 32-year-old "NXT GEN" is bigger and more experienced than "The Destroyer," but "The Destroyer" is on a hot streak after eliminating his last two opponents.

Below is everything we know about the upcoming fight.

Quotes from the fighters

Conor Benn vs Chris Eubank Jr

Chris Eubank Jr, Conor Benn and trainers attend the Eubank Jr/Benn Press Conference at Glaziers Hall

Conor Benn: "This fight is for the legacy and was an opportunity I felt I couldn't pass up. "To me this fight is personal, it's more than titles and rankings, this is unfinished business between our families!

"My team and I had other options on the table as I'm currently ranked top five with all governing bodies at welterweight and no doubt that I'm looking for a world championship fight very soon, but this fight is embedded with so much history and I know it's one the public really want to see."

Chris Eubank Jr: “I grew up watching their legendary battles and always wanting to emulate that, to find my own arch nemesis. Could this now be Conor Benn? We will find out. He has walked the same path as I have. I know his struggle. Living in the shadow of a legend and trying to break out of that shadow and make his own name. If he can beat me, his name will be made, and he will never walk in his father’s shadow again."
