So it's officially confirmed. Conor McGregor will fight Eddie Alvarez at UFC 205.

Despite a certain Jose Aldo not being impressed with the booking, it's certainly a fight that will excite every UFC fan, with Dana White claiming it's the fight everybody wants to see.

Title vs title, champion vs champion, and McGregor has already put his neck on the line by making a prediction for the big fight, which takes place at Madison Square Garden on November 12.

During the press conference for the fight, McGregor was visibly getting more and more annoyed with the situation, and urged Alvarez to 'shut his f****** mouth'.

In response to the Irishman getting more and more heated, Alvarez just started laughing at his opponent and was seemingly enjoying himself on centre stage.

You can hear in the video posted further down this article that the fans in attendance were mixed on McGregor, with some cheering him, and others jeering him whenever he spoke.

Nearing the end of the video, McGregor turned into Mystic Meg and made his prediction for how his fight with Alvarez will end.

McGregor believes he will defeat his American opponent in the first round by way of knockout. Alvarez could only laugh at the prediction, stating his confidence ahead of the fight in his own special way.

McGregor has held his title ever since defeating Jose Aldo in the first round back in December, whilst Alvarez has been champ since winning the belt in his most recent fight, defeating Rafael dos Anjos at the MGM Grand via TKO in the first round.

His current record is 28 wins and four losses, whilst McGregor currently has a record of 20 wins and three losses.
