Since Kevin Durant decided to join the Golden State Warriors, he has received a lot of criticism on social media.
The 2014 Most Valuable Player opted to leave the Oklahoma City Thunder after nine years for the franchise that beat them 4-3 in the Western Conference finals in an act that many see as unforgivable.
Not only was he chastised by Thunder fans, but he was despised by followers of other franchises for strengthening the Warriors. After all, they already had the back-to-back MVP Stephen Curry, All-Stars Draymond Green and Klay Thompson and 2015 finals MVP Andre Iguodala.
Well, it seems like the criticism on Instagram had become too much for Durant after he deleted his account. When you search for his account 'easymoneysniper' you are greeted with the message "Sorry, this page isn't available."
His Twitter account is still active, but Instagram was a platform where Durant was receiving a number of unsavoury comments about his free agency decision.
There's only one way for the forward to silence his critics and that is by winning a championship with the Warriors. They have all the pieces in place to wrestle the title back from the Cleveland Cavaliers and KD can return to Insta with a bang as a champion.
