The New York Knicks are one of the most interesting teams heading into the new campaign. Nobody can really predict how they are going to perform this season.

Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah are two former All-Stars who dominated the league in their day, however, injury problems have taken the shine off their careers and left the duo battling to prove themselves.

Despite the issues, there is a lot of optimism from fans in the Big Apple that they could challenge the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference.

Former Most Valuable Player Rose is the best point guard Carmelo Anthony has ever played with, and the former Chicago Bulls superstar spoke about what his role will be at Madison Square Garden.

“My job is to come here and help him win,’’ Rose said of Anthony, via the NY Post. “This is his team. In practice, I’ll push him and be on him when he’s being lazy and vice versa. There’s no bad blood. I’m just here to help him win.

“My job is to make his job easy,’’ Rose added. “I’m not coming in for my stats. I don’t care about my stats. As long as we win, I can sleep easy at night.’’
