When Mesut Ozil is playing with confidence, there aren’t many better players to watch in world football.

The Germany international was superb in Arsenal’s 3-0 win over Chelsea last weekend - his no-look pass left Nemanja Matic bamboozled - and he continued from where he left off against Basel in the Champions League this evening.

Ozil produced one fantastic piece of skill during the match, which you can watch by scrolling down this page.

The match itself finished 2-0 to the Gunners thanks to a brace from Theo Walcott.

The English winger, from two Alexis Sanchez assists, scored in the 7th and 26th minutes to earn Arsene Wenger’s side a well-deserved three points.

But surely the moment of the night was this exquisite turn from Ozil.

In one swift motion, the 27-year-old turned his marker and set off towards the Basel penalty area.
