Will Mamadou Sakho ever play for Liverpool again under Jurgen Klopp?
That is the question Liverpool fans are asking after the French defender and the German boss have clashed in recent months.
Sakho was an important part of the team towards the end of last season, being instrumental as the Reds reached the Europa League final.

However, ever since he was found guilty of failing a drugs test in April, things have gone downhill for Sakho. Although UEFA decided that the player won't face any punishment after declaring the fat-burning substance shouldn’t be on the banned list, Sakho has struggled to redeem himself in Klopp’s eyes.
He was sent home from Liverpool’s tour of America during pre-season for breaking numerous rules and hasn’t appeared for the first-team all season. This led to Sakho taking to Snapchat to express his disappointment at the situation he finds himself in.

Sakho's Snapchat rant
He said: “Now it's three weeks I am fit to play games. They don't want me to play with segonde (segondo, U23s) team lol.
“Still working hard like Scouse Soldier! Still not talking cos I want to speak on the pitch....I will speak soon for the people who support me and don't understand the situation (emoji).
“Still happy to live in my Liverpool Country (emoji) with my family, hope to have chance to play soon to give my best like I try to always do!
“I accept my situation but I can't accept the lie....the fans deserve to know the true! Thanks for your support (emoji) 6 six months stay quiet.
“Have good night everybody! You'll never walk alone! (emoji).”
It was never going to go down well with Klopp and the Liverpool boss has now revealed how he responded to Sakho’s outburst.
Klopp has explained the two things he has told Sakho - something that he tells every player - and insisted that he just wanted to draw a line under the whole affair.
“Two things, that’s not I would say a rule for Mamadou Sakho, it’s a rule for every player, work hard, do your best. All the rest is, I spoke to the team and I spoke to Mama and we spoke together and that’s it," he said.
“From my side everything is done and here we are.”
Since his Snapchat rant, Sakho has represented the Under 23s against Wolfsburg and, according to the Liverpool Echo, will play for them again against Ipswich this weekend.
Whether Sakho can impress Klopp and make a return to the starting line-up at Anfield remains to be seen but it seems the manager is willing to give him one final chance on Merseyside - as long as he works hard and does his best.
